My name is Lauren and I'm a newborn, family and wedding photographer based in Belfast, in Northern Ireland. Jamie has been photographing Weddings in Northern Ireland since July 2005. He enjoyed three years working for VENTURE Portraits, has trained both in Manchester & New York and is a graduate from theUniversity of Aberdeen. Wedding Photography is his passion. If you can make it fun - then that'll be reflected in the shots - making it fun and having some kind of personality is crucial as a photographer - the science of the camera being almost secondary.
I started out by taking photos of still life, pets, and landscapes. Back then everything I did was done with an analogue (film) camera. Even now I have fond memories of learning how a camera worked, and being able to go home and develop the shots taken. Now of course the digital age has changed the world of photography I grew up in. It has not however changed my passion for photography. I have an ever growing interest in photography, and enjoy helping people create memories for them and their family.

I love people and I love drawing out the best in those aroundme. I love making memories and capturing memories for others. These are the perfect ingredients for a photographer, who will take those fleeting but precious moments in life and commit them to tangible form which will last a lifetime and beyond.
It's absolutely amazing to be able to celebrate with you on your wedding day! Wedding photography is great fun! I love capturing the atmosphere and joy of every wedding. I first discovered my love of photography when I was putting my hatred of maths class into practise at school. Choosing instead to hide in the art department (my favourite subject for the entire ofschool) it was here I first tried to teach myself about the darkroom and fell in love with photography. I got an old fully manual Pentax SLR and started teaching myself as much as I could about photography and developing my own black and white images.
