My portrait sessions are all about you and telling your story. Having your portrait taken doesn’t mean you have to pose in a studio, so whether you enjoy walks along the beach together, conker hunting in the woods or time playing guitar we create a session that has meaning to you.

I love how portrait sessions have evolved from studio sittings to carefree and fun portraits, allowing you to run, jump, hitch piggyback rides and climb trees. I love to shoot outdoors, if you have something fun and creative in mind please do talk to me. Feel free to bring wardrobe changes and props that you feel are intrinsic to you as a family or couple.

A kite that you fly together, a picnic blanket you use every summer. Also consider wildflowers, fruit, balloons, your dog, your kids — the main objective is to photograph the love and connections and have fun doing it! The best images are not always when you are smiling at the camera. Don’t worry we will only stop when I know we’ve got some great images and besides, we will be having fun so smiling will come naturally.

I want my images to show all the love and care that has gone into your day, when you look back at your album I want you to be able to remember it all as though it was yesterday, friends and family, the tears, the laughter and of course all the fun. Telling your story with stunning photography, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day while I work quietly in the background.

I love the energy of a wedding day, the growing excitement and nervousness of the morning, the calm and chaos throughout the day, the happy tears from parents when you are announced husband and wife followed by the big smiles as you float back down the aisle together.I like to get to know you both. I want to know your story, what makes you happy, what you love and what makes you laugh. I get excited hearing about what you have planned, who is helping out and any little quirks you have lined up to make the day unique.
