For photographic commissions across Scotland, look no further than Blackfox Photography. Blackfox operates from a studio in Pentland Hills Regional Park just south of Edinburgh and work primarily incentral Scotland and the North of England, but can work anywhere in the UK. It is owned and operated by Tony Edwards, an Edinburgh based photographer who studied photography in the 1980’s at Napier in Edinburgh, one of the UK’s most respected photography schools.
Born in Edinburgh's New Town and now live in the delightful Midlothian town of Bonnyrigg with my partner Anne and two black Labrador dogs Robbie and Piper. For as long as I can remember I've had acamera, from the old fashioned flash bulbs and the film era to the wonderful digital images that can be produced today which even now still amaze me with the quality and vibrancy of images that can be produced.
We appreciate the chance to work in a field that we are enthusiastic about. One of our aims is to show everyone enjoying themselves and many folk have chosen us as they can see this clearly in eachimage. We believe that the photography on your day should be a pleasure not a penance. Another important focus for us is to ensure that while we will be a part of your day, we will not try to control any elements of it. We are there to help you and often do so.
I love nothing more than photographing people, from newborn babies to lively toddlers, families and friends. I love children - I have two little people myself so I understand how to capture them attheir best. Being Edinburgh born and bred I couldn't imagine living anywhere else than Bonnie Scotland, it is simply the best place in the world to get married and I am so lucky that I can call it home.
You will always get friendly personal service from Alan Scott Photography. Not surprisingly, my hobbies are photography & film collecting. In fact I have a home cinema complete with cinema seats & dtssurround sound. My all time favourite film has is the 1933 classic King Kong. Favourite modern film the controversial period gangster film directed by Brian de Palma starring Al Pacino - Scarface.
We began Flashmunki Photography during the calm after photographing one of Edinburgh's Beltane festivals. We wanted to create images that were full of life, that told people's stories and showed howalive people are. We also wanted to use our photography to help community projects and show the impact that groups can have on the lives of others. With this lofty aim in mind we started our business. Our style is born from our excitable and friendly personalities.
