Pete Stephenson photography are based in both Fareham in Hampshire and Southampton and with over 14 years experience in photographing families, people and portraits of children, if you are looking for an understanding, patient photographer to create professional, high quality images of your children and family, I would love to hear from you.

Pete is a full-time professional photographer, and is fully insured for both public and professional indemnity, and is a qualified member of the BFP bureau of freelance photographers and I hold a CRB disclosure check and have years of experience photographing children at home with their families.

Event

Our event photography covers a variety of events. We have experience working in a range of environments, from classical music festivals to advertising events. Our most featured event is the Disney™ challenge at the Bournemouth Air Show.

The Disney challenge was a 200m long inflatable obstacle course — two competitors took part every fifteen minutes and the time for each competitor was recorded, and fastest person for each hour received Disney goodies. We captured photos that highlighted the fun and competitive spirit of the event.

Our event services are designed to suit any event or occasion. We provide general coverage, snapping images of event attendees and organisers and making sure that the event's most important displays or competitions are documented.

Family Portraits

Family portraits are great way of capturing you and your family in an informal setting where you can really be yourselves. Whether you want to take photos that include multiple generations of family members to pass down to your kids, or capture a fleeting moment in time when your children are very young, family portraits help you document your growing family and provide cherished memories.

We have a number of family portrait poses that we use to create beautiful, natural shots of your family that you'll be able to treasure for the years to come. The key to any good family portrait is for the group to be comfortable and interact well with one another. On the day of your shoot, we recommend that you dress in a way that is both comfortable and representative of your family's personality.

We also believe in outdoor family portraits so that we can use the natural light to capture great photographs of your family. If the photo shoot is to take place outdoors, we will plan the shooting time around the best time of day for using natural light so your photos won't be over lit or in shadow. It's also our practice to use our mobile studio, which enables us to take studio portraits you in the comfort of your own home or other familiar surroundings.

This can be on location in order to take photos for actors, dancers. We also offer studio shoots for musicians, ballerinas, actors and models, where we take headshots and portraits that are used to create their portfolio.
