About the Business

I am Adam – London wedding photographer. I am specialising in reportage wedding photography with an artistic touch. For me wedding photography is all about understanding you. As well as your individual taste and expectations. It’s about observing, seeing and capturing the moments as they happen as well as your emotions that accompany them. My job is to translate what I see into beautiful photographs.

As a wedding photographer I want to concentrate on your emotions to create long lasting memories. I will be take plenty of pictures of your relationship. I will be looking at the chemistry between the two of you. Gentle gestures, smiles, eye contacts, looks, body language all this will reveal your love and friendship towards each other.

I will also photograph your family and friends. I will shoot your wedding through my eyes, but I will listen to you beforehand. I want to find out what you like and want. A as well as what you don’t like.

Every wedding is different and unique, so will be yours. And as you will see in my portfolio and photo blog my style is natural and documentary. It focuses on telling your story. I follow the events of the day. Capture real moments as they happen. I don’t pose your shots. I am like a “Fly on the Wall”. So you will be asked to ignore me on your day. It’s my job to make you feel at ease. I want you to “forget” about being photographed.

I will ask you to simply enjoy your day. I will document all the key moments, from the bridal preparations all the way through to the first dance. Sometimes I stay for a little while longer but just before people start to be “unphotogenic”. I am happy to stay even much longer if there is something happening in the evening. I do not really count the hours, as I want to enjoy your wedding as much as you do.

Hindu and Civil Tamil Wedding Photography

Hindu and Civil Tamil Wedding Photography

I have been photographing Tamil Weddings around London area for the past five years. I have had a opportunities to witness and observe different cultures and customs of the Tamil community. A very interesting experience, so I wanted to write a little bit on how to be a Tamil wedding photographer London or anywhere else.

Call me old fashioned, but I am very passionate about first class photography and I think there are few things in life I love more than weddings. Two people, deeply in love, promising to spend their lives together is nothing short of beautiful. And seeing their friends and family celebrate with them, rejoicing in the couple’s love and happiness, always makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

Tamil weddings are bright and colorful. As a photographer, the mix of vibrant colors and Hindu traditions is very inspiring.
Greek

Greek

As a Greek Wedding Photographer London I had a chance to witness and photograph a number of cultural traditions that make Greek weddings stand apart from other wedding ceremonies. The traditions begin long before the ceremony, and involve a number of the wedding guests. The koumbaro is like a best man, and it is traditional for him to shave the groom on the morning of the wedding. The groom’s other friends are then invited to help him dress, allowing him to feel supported by love and friendship on this important day.

The koumbaro is also responsible for finding then the ceremony crowns. In Greek tradition, the bride and groom are each presented with a crown to wear during the ceremony. The crowns represent the honour and importance of the ceremony in the eyes of God. The crowns are joined by a ribbon symbolising the unity of the couple as they join together in marriage.

The traditions continue long after the ceremony too, in fact the entire wedding day is celebrated through small practices that hold cultural and historical importance. The money dance is one of my favourite Greek wedding traditions! Rather than bring presents to the wedding, it is traditional for guests to give money to the bride and groom. The money dance is a long standing tradition in which guests pay to dance with the bride and groom by pinning money to their clothes. As you can probably imagine, I always make sure to snap some great photos of this fun tradition.
Asian

Asian

What I love most about my job as Asian Wedding Photographer, is getting to capture the different traditions and rituals. Many couples choose to include always in their celebrations. From the wedding ceremony to the vidai, I will make sure each tradition is captured. I have a very modern approach to photography. This approach allows me to capture the beauty, elegance and glamour of Hindu weddings.

I understand that while you may love my photography style, your parents may prefer you to choose a more traditional photographer. They want to make sure the photographer you choose understands the cultural. As well as your religious and historical importance of each aspect of the wedding celebrations. And you want someone who will take beautiful, modern, stylish photographs. Well, let me reassure you that, I am well immersed in Asian culture. I have visited India many times. Including a beautiful 4 days wedding in Bengaluru.

I have photographed a great number of Asian weddings since as well here in the UK. I understand the traditions that are unique. And I’m experienced in photographing these important moments in my modern style. I like to think of myself as a very experienced non-Asian Asian wedding photographer in London. I shoot a wide range of Hindu Weddings, in my portfolio you will find pictures form Punjabi, Gujarati and Tamil celebrations.
