Flashmunki Photography

We began Flashmunki Photography during the calm after photographing one of Edinburgh's Beltane festivals. We wanted to create images that were full of life, that told people's stories and showed how alive people are. We also wanted to use our photography to help community projects and show the impact that groups can have on the lives of others. With this lofty aim in mind we started our business. Our style is born from our excitable and friendly personalities. It is a free-flowing, un-complicated approach both from the event and the posed side of our work. We prefer to use realism to represent a real life scene in an artistic way. To do this we try to really understand our subjects, really get to know what makes them tick and through this we capture a story in a photograph; our skill in relating to people shows in the images we produce.
