Ollie & George Photography is a thriving, bespoke, baby and children's photography studio on the A59 in the beautiful Ribble Valley, near BAE Samlesbury. Located just a 10-minute drive from both Preston and Blackburn and within easy reach of much of Lancashire.

After spending some time photographing houses for a living I moved towards baby and children's photography after I had my own baby, Ollie, 8 years ago. Having a baby changes everything. I soon realised that babies grow and change really really quickly, those first few weeks with your new baby are just a blur as you welcome this new member of your family into your lives, time really does fly! Capturing these precious moments for you to look back on in years to come is so important and what makes this so much more than just a 'job'.

Over the years I have photographed a good few hundred babies, developed a clean, bright and airy photography style and consistently trained with some of the best newborn photographers in the world. I have photography qualifications, won awards and strive to improve technique and be aware of trends in newborn and baby photography. Cake Smash & Splash

I have been photographing cake smash sessions since 2012, back then no one really knew what they were but I’d seen a number of American photographers do them and thought they looked like so much fun! If you’ve not come across a cake smash before then you’re in for a treat. One-year-olds can be tricky to photograph, they just do not want to sit still for more than 30 seconds, if that… the introduction of a cake encourages them to sit for a little longer and they have a fabulous cake to interact with, some interact more than others, some completely go to town and smash it up which is immense fun whilst others take their time and are a lot more delicate….

Newborn Photography

Once you have decided that I’m the newborn photographer for you please get in touch and I will check availability for your due date. I only take a very limited number of newborn bookings each month so I become fully booked months in advance, however, with babies being so unpredictable I do often have some last minute availability so please do get in touch.
