About the Business

Born in 1954, Kevin Viney grew up in the swinging sixties alongside those great iconic images of The Beatles and fashionable London. Television broadcasting with the BBC provided the fascination with image creation and growing up in the sixties also meant you couldn't escape and be influenced by that famous fashion photographer (and still photographing at 72!), David Bailey, who captured The Rolling Stones, models like Jean Shrimpton and everything that was 'Swinging London'.

Strong black and white and colour images at work sparked an interest in stills photography especially after spotting an old advert from Kodak that said "You press the button, we do the rest". It wasn't that simple!

After leaving the BBC, Kevin spent 14 years flying hot-air balloons over Olney and the surrounding countryside without doubt further inspired by aerial images and a perfect and stable camera platform!
