About the Business

I grew up in the 1960s and served 16 years in the Royal Navy working in communications, travelling the world. Then came a career working in the graphics industry as a graphic designer. Whilst this satisfied my creative urges, photography had always been important. I'd usually carried a camera as a means of recording some of the many spectacular places visited and events encountered. Most of the results of this early photography was for personal consumption only, and a lot of it went in the bin - so I took a year out to train formally, and started working as a freelance photographer alongside my graphic design work.
