About the Business

The home page has already told you a fair amount about the photography I do, but here I'd like to give you a bit more of an idea of who I am and what my story is.

So. my name is Yvonne Blume and I've been a keen photographer since a very young age, but my career first took me into the field of fashion, working as a model booker, and then into a life on the front line of investment banking, before following my instincts and establishing YBPHOTOGRAPHIC in 2004.

I was born in Germany, then spent some time living in Indonesia, before finally settling in London when I was 15, and I've been here ever since. I have traveled all over the world and you can see a tiny proportion of my travel photographs under Personal Work. on the blog. Sadly, when you are a professional photographer, your own personal images are always the last to be edited or posted online. A bit like the proverbial plumber with the dripping taps.
