I was fascinated by beautiful London and the way I could frame images with the viewfinder of my mum’s Minolta 35mm camera. Those were the days of film, so actually pressing the shutter was a big deal. It meant you had to wait until you’d finished the roll, wait until you could drop it at the lab, and then wait for it to be developed until you could see how many of your 24 or 36 frames turned out as you’d hoped.
