About the Business
I've always been interested in Photography and knew that if I wanted to build a business that would last I would need to choose a name that would last and one that reflected me and my roots. My maiden name (Barron) had it's origins in the northeast lead mining industry and my mothers maiden name (Elliot) came from one of the notorious 'Border Reiver' families that inhabited the border between England and Scotland in the 17th century. This resulted in my maiden name 'Hollie Elliot Barron', which changed to Hollie Elliot Crabtree when I married. The name 'Elliot' has traveled with me through my life and I felt it best reflected my origins hence the name Elliot Photography.
My love affair with photography began many years ago, looking through pictures which my grandfather had taken over a period of 50 years.
