A little bit about me and my business Gary Standen Photography. I'm a photographer from Portsmouth in Hampshire, and I've started this business to turn my passion of Wedding photography into something I can share with more people. My interest in wedding photography started when I was in school at the age of 13 and I took my new camera along to a family wedding. Shooting 'over the shoulder' of the professional, I was more interested in capturing the expressions on people's faces and ambience of what was going on, and from that point I was hooked on taking photographs of people. Moving on many years, through various training courses and qualifications, this is still an integral part of my photographic style and I believe that it captures more of the emotion on the wedding day and tells the story of that day. However, I also still like to keep the traditional wedding photography look alive as there is always room for posed shots!
