About the Business
Keith was born in Huyton, Merseyside and spent his formative years in Knowsley Village. He now lives in Prescot with his wife Debbie and his two daughters Sarah and Natasha. He was introduced to photography from an early age, after being given a Kodak 127 Brownie Camera as a child. He loved the sounds it made, winding on the film and firing the shutter, he was hooked! In 1982, he studied photography at Wigan College of Technology. Initially, he worked as a Photographic Technician, before taking up a position as a Medical Photographer in 1998. Currently, he is employed as a Photographer by National Museums Liverpool. Keith specialises in Landscape and Documentary Photography, he has recently been experimenting using infrared techniques with his landscape images. His main inspiration for photography came from photographers, Bill Brandt, Ansel Adams and Henri Cartier Bresson. Keith believes in the ability to capture emotion and to express oneself freely without oppression.
