About the Business

My name is Peter Baldwin, a wedding photographer based near Wakefield, West Yorkshire. I prefer to be described more as a wedding photojournalist, employing a mix of traditional and natural styles of photography, rather than being gimmicky or everything being posed. My mission is to provide you with images that provide a timeless memory that you can be proud to share with your family and friends for years to come, and not be viewed as "outdated" a few years down the line. I first became interested in photography in my mid-teens, back in the late 70's, and since then it has been my passion for well over 30 years. I shot my first full wedding at the age of 19, and have continued to perfect the art by attending workshops and training courses, as well as studying other professionals in the field and learning from their techniques. Over the years I have also photographed landscapes, people, pets, architecture and more. But it's weddings that give me the most pleasure.
